Joelyn R. Peterson

Joelyn R. Peterson, 74, of Wynantskill passed away on May 13, 2023. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late John and Eleanor Peterson. Joelyn was a fun-loving person who liked spending time with her neighbors in her community and playing bingo. She loved life and was always happy, especially when she was enjoying the company of her beloved “child”, Mikey the cat.

Joelyn was predeceased by her sisters, Helen Doakmajian and Loretta Church. She is survived by her sister Margo Dougherty, her beloved nephew Kevin Dougherty, and her special friend Jenn, as well as several other nieces and nephews.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
